Data Deletion Instructions

1. How to request deletion

You can delete Assist data in either way:

1. From Assist: sign in, open your dashboard, then email us from the same account address asking to delete the account.
2. By email: send a message to [email protected] with subject “Assist data deletion”, your account email, and (if known) the Instagram username you connected.

If you cannot sign in, include enough detail for us to locate the account (email used at registration and approximate signup date).

2. What we delete

When a deletion request is verified, Retrina deletes or anonymizes Assist records associated with that account, including:

• Assist user profile (name, email, stored Instagram handle).
• Meta / Instagram access tokens, Page IDs, and Instagram professional account IDs.
• Automation triggers, templates, inbox items, and lead records stored in Assist.
• Subscription identifiers we hold in Assist (Stripe remains the system of record for invoices required by tax/accounting law).

We may retain minimal records if required by law (for example a billing invoice) or to complete an ongoing security investigation.

3. Remove Assist from Facebook / Instagram

To stop Meta from sending new data to Assist:

1. Open Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites (or Instagram Settings → Apps and websites).
2. Find assist / Assist by Retrina and remove it.

Removing the app on Meta does not by itself erase copies already stored in Assist. Send the email above so we delete Assist-side data too.

4. Timing

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when the Assist account and stored Instagram connection data have been removed.
