1. Who we are

Assist is a flagship product of Retrina Technologies. Assist helps brands automate Instagram comment-to-DM workflows, capture leads, and manage related billing.

2. Data we collect

Depending on how you use Assist, we may process:

Account details: name, email, password hash, store/brand name, Instagram handle you provide.
Billing data processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).
Product usage: automations, triggers, message templates, inbox/lead records, and plan limits.
Technical logs: IP address, timestamps, and security events needed to operate the service.

3. Instagram and Meta Graph API data

If you connect Instagram, Assist requests access through Meta Login / Graph API. We may receive:

Your Instagram professional account identifiers, username, and connected Facebook Page.
Media identifiers needed to attach comment-to-DM automations.
Public comments on selected posts and related sender identifiers.
Direct message content that Assist sends or receives to run your automations.
Access tokens required to call Meta APIs on your behalf.

We only request permissions needed to provide Assist. We do not sell Instagram data. We do not use Instagram data to build unrelated advertising profiles.

4. How we use data

Create and authenticate your Assist account.
Run comment-to-DM automations, AI replies, and lead capture that you configure.
Show dashboards, billing status, and support diagnostics.
Secure the platform, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
Send service emails such as login, billing, and product notices.

5. Sharing

We share data only with processors needed to run Assist, including:

Meta Platforms, Inc. when you connect Instagram and we call Graph API.
Stripe for checkout, invoices, and subscription status.
Hosting and infrastructure providers that store Assist application data.

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect users and the service.

6. Retention and security

We keep account, automation, and connected Instagram data while your account is active and as needed for billing, security, and legal obligations. You can disconnect Instagram and request deletion at any time. Tokens are stored with access controls and transmitted over HTTPS.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (including GDPR), you may request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email [email protected] or follow our Data Deletion instructions.

If you connected Instagram, you can also remove Assist from your Facebook / Instagram connected apps. That stops new API access; we still need your deletion request to erase stored Assist records.
