## What Assist is

Assist by Retrina connects to Instagram through the official Meta Graph API. When a viewer comments a keyword on a Reel or post (for example PRICE or LINK), Assist can send a private DM with a product link, booking link, or AI reply. It also automates Story mention replies and lead capture.

Assist is not an unofficial Instagram bot. Users do not share their Instagram password. The account must be a Business or Creator professional account.

## How it works

1. Sign up at https://assist.retrina.com
2. Connect an Instagram professional account via Meta OAuth
3. Create a keyword trigger and DM template
4. Assist sends the DM through Meta Graph API when the keyword is commented

## Safety

Assist uses Instagram APIs provided by Meta. It does not log in with email/password scraping. Shadowban risk from unofficial bots does not apply to official Graph API usage; Meta still requires a professional account and app review for public apps.
